I've been watching some oldschool pro gaming documentaries recently, here are two good ones about Street Fighter, one focusing on the scene as a whole and the other following one pro gamer in particular (he is a , that's interesting, street fighter community seems to be very "diverse" because, as someone argues in the docu, the roots are in arcade machines):

I have a friend who is majorly into fighting games and this is really true. If there is ever peace between races, it will come through fighting games. Where else do you have big muscular black dudes and skinny Asian guys and fat white nerds and working class Mexicans getting along so well?
