One of my favorite things to watch on nicovideo is random uploads of western bits of nerd culture and seeing the Japanese joke about them (like the filthy hypocrites they are, they certainly have no qualms about watching pirated versions of western movies but will then get mad at you for watching a pirated Japanese anime!).

Some old Japanese dubs of The Twilight Zone were interesting to see their responses to (they are very funny):

And probably the most I've ever laughed on nicovideo is watching the subtitled AVGN reuploads. For one thing, just seeing AVGN translated into Japanese is great. But the comment spam is legendary. It's like a whole second meta-layer of jokes about the shitty game and about AVGN and the game review:

Of course, only watch the classic AVGN episodes. Those are the only funny originals and they have the most comment spam as well! Though like western fans, they are absolutely brutal in ripping on his Norwood 10000 hairline, which is always good for a chuckle.
