New forms of Luluka came out.

The new ED containing white Luluka.

I guess the plot goes from I-IV to V-I.

I finished watching Chobits (2002), which was at the top of my poll about what I should watch next. It was really good. There were a lot of these robo-girl shows around the same period but Chobits is probably the most "grounded" of them. The characters in it feel like real people.* I do love over-the-top shows about the same topic, but it was a nice change. I like the art style a lot. The way the girls are drawn is very appealing, although something about their eyes can sometimes look a little "dead." For the persocoms, of course, it's perfect. But it is very moe. I thought the show was excellently paced and avoided having the "plot" get rushed in the second half like a lot of these shows that excel at a slice-of-life setup and then ram a plot through the second half and ruin it.

Well, almost. I can't believe that anyone would not just be constantly fucking their persocom. Japanese timidity and modesty can only go so far lmao.

Anyway, now I'm watching the next highest-rated anime from the poll, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I like the original movie, of course, though I've only seen it once. What I like most about this series so far (besides the godly OP which anyone who stayed up to see it on Adult Swim will have burned in their brain) is that Motoko walks around in her underwear basically all the time even during serious business, which rules!

I'm watching Last Exile and I really like Dio Eraclea

The opening is really awesome. Some parts of the character relationship developments are pretty confusing... The art and worldbuilding are really good. I'll probably make a little review on my site once I'm done.

Not sure if I am supposed to go through the other Last Exile entries as well, if they're directly connected and all.
