The name's Tsubo.
i'm an autistic chilean who's really into technology, among other things.
I found Pantsu Prophet through a certain "place to be" where this smiley comes from -->
As I recall, I first found out about it by posting one of my XMPP addresses on a thread I started back then.
I am very much into all sorts of computery shit, fighting games, old-school first person shooters, among other things to name.
I play all sorts of stuff, to be honest. Maybe I should include a game log sort of like the main Pantsu Prophet site, right?
Yes, before anyone asks, my favorite Touhou character is Suika. Not because of that damned cover of one of her themes that ultimately became a meme, but because I'm a sucker for drunken characters.
I'm still working on my site, but once it's ready, It'll be at tsubodii.com, just in case.

Since you post on the Deluoode forums and you're an affiliate, I joined. You have a cool site.Amlux wrote: Tue May 26, 2026 1:17 amHow did you find the Oppai Oracle or Pantsu Prophet? In terms of more recreational things, retro-gaming, animanga, music (prog, metal, electronic, and other stuff). In terms of more academic interests, linguistics, mathematics/CS, that deal.
Do textbooks count? If so, I'm doing How to Design Programs to learn about functional programming through the *SL teaching languages, after which I'll work on the Racket Guide.Amlux wrote: Tue May 26, 2026 1:17 amWhat are you reading/playing/watching at the moment and what do you think?

Re: Introduce Yourself
hello everyone, my name is cheesybomb. i found this place through drummyfish's LRS, as is perhaps expected(?). as for this forum, i only just discovered it, but that's okay - at least it's not reddit. plus, JOMO.
i have a variety of interests. i think the most primary ones are programming, drawing and music. i'm not very good at much besides the programming and drawing, but i'm slowly learning to play the drums as well as a few other instruments (trombone, guitar, others). among my more infrequent interests are linguistics (by extension conlangs and artlangs in general, though i don't think i'll ever have the patience to make my own), writing, movies, and watching table tennis matches. nice to be here!

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hello everyone! I'm a philosophy major from (somewhat) cold wastes of Russia; however, I feel like I'm still pretty much green on almost every pilosophical subject aside from one.
Playing: none, really. I made a promise to oneself that I will finish KS until the end of summer, but the progress has stalled.
Watching: I decided to rewatch Monogatari franchise after 7 years and it is better than I remember (at least the first season).
I stumbled upon the video on TLP somewhere in 2024, but I haven't watched it (yet...). Despite that, it kinda encouraged me to read Subahibi, which I enjoyed to some extent (I have a weird love-hate relationship with it). For two years I thought about watching the lectures until I binged the lectures on Heidegger a month ago. I learned about this place at the same time. How did you find the Oppai Oracle or Pantsu Prophet?
Academically my interests mostly revolved around Vl. S. Solovyov, Husserl, Bergson and Meillassoux, but not so long ago I grew disappointed in metaphysics and shifted my attention to the philosophy of science and sociology (if you can call Foucault a sociologist). My favourite weeb fandoms are Touhou Project (I am a so-called 'secondary' fan; I have only played TH6 and Remilia kicked my ass in the end) and Nasuverse (primarily Mahoyo and KnK); aside from anime (not so much nowadays) and VNs I follow MMA while doing none myself. Also my guilty pleasure is watching wrestling promos from the 90s.What are your hobbies and interests?
Reading: I finished "On the Advantage and Disadvantage of History for Life" by F. Nietzsche two weeks ago and found it pretty boring for the most part, although I largely sympathize with his vitalist intuitions. What are you reading/playing/watching at the moment and what do you think?

So it goes

I am pleased to have a seat at this table. I found the website Pantsu Prophet as an advertisement on Heyuri. Not a big user, just visit the /lounge/ board every few months. I clicked one of the ads thinking it would be a funny hentai website, instead I found a forum full of intellectual wankers; perfect, as I'm also an intellectual wanker.
Well, first I read a whole bunch of Amlux's essays, and am astounded by our similarities. Certain similarities of childhood, having a very similar way of thought, and also being an admirer of Schopenhauer.
Beyond study and work, my hobbies are mostly reading/writing fiction/non-fiction. Currently working on a draft of a VN, as well as essays and poetry. Don't like music, games, anime, film, or television very much, but I do read manga. I'm interested in philosophy, tinker with electronics and programming, flirt a little with mathematics, but I try keep my set of interests on rails so I don't spread too thin. I've found adding more interests will lead to no progress in anything, even reverse progress sometimes. But I can't stand single-minded specialists.
Currently reading the last volume of I Am A Cat by Natsume Soseki. I admired Botchan so I got that, I've enjoyed it except when the verbosity makes the story sluggish. Sometimes an entire thread of thought happens between two events in quick succession, which is an annoying habit, but the characters and dialogue are wonderful and funny.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Very glad to see my advertisement on Heyuri is putting in some work. I think you will enjoy it here and I'm happy to have your presence. I've never read anything more than a short story by Natsume but I really should because he's one of the biggest names in Japanese fiction of course.BobDeus wrote: Sat Jul 25, 2026 12:11 pmI am pleased to have a seat at this table. Re: Introduce Yourself
How did you find the Oppai Oracle or Pantsu Prophet? It feels conceited of me to ask this since most of the answers will probably be related to my videos, but it's a good conversation starter I guess
Hello Jade! In a similar manner to other members of the forum ( I felt I had to see what others were saying before even daring to make my own ) I found your videos through the tractatus logico philosophicus video, it is also exactly what pushed me into german philosophy in general and I am immensely grateful for it. German philosophy has essentially become my primary belief pretty much mixing in Nietzche, Wittgenstein and Heidegger. After finding the video I checked out your other videos and also enjoyed both your ramblings and educational presentations, i hope to still be here and interact with the community at large
" What are your hobbies and interests? "
Oftentimes the first thing that people state when asked something like their hobbies ends up being what kind of defines them in a conversation? Its natural of course people just instantly relate whatever you said to yourself it heyd otn know anything, just one of the ways that we need to realize we arent what we are percieved to be and blah blah. So in no particular order im a huge fan of shoegaze, I love re zero ( Im currently reading the arc 7 web novel ), Reading is a top 5 activity ever, very interested in classics ( gothic literature like dracula, frankenstein, dorian grey are all ones on my shelf and enjoyed ) and philosophy books. Ive dabbled in visual novels and by novels i mean just two ( Katawa shoujo { in progress } and starting out on subarashiki hibi because of your videos! Im interested in biology and im prepared to suffer in med school, luckily its still easygoing right now. My favorite book is paradise lost so far since i started reading about a year and a halfish ago if that says anything about me.
" What are you reading/playing/watching at the moment and what do you think? "
I juust finished reading wuthering heights and it definitely isnt a love story. A lot of people seem to think that the book is about revenge but similarily to my interpretation of dorian grey where I talk moreso about the concept of good and evil and how they only originate from ourselves and the true punisher is not the society but the mind, wuthering heights is sort of the same where I feel like it illustrates how we as people are shaped by what we follow and love, and when you end up lost in that love and it is taken from you, one cannot help but wither as they lose touch of the world around them clinging to a past. Im sure even hindley still stuck around after her death because even if he did start abusing his family he had the capacity to rationalize as far as he did until he passed but heathcliff was lost in the past of catherine. But again thats just my interpretation. Happy to be here!
