Problems connecting to the site/forum?

A friend of the site and user, Saint, said he was having trouble accessing the site and my forum. It was giving him a TLS timeout when he tried to connect. We spent about an hour troubleshooting but I wasn't able to get a handle on why it was doing so or see much from my end that was strange.

I guess it's kind of backwards to ask if people can't access the forum ON the forum itself, but has anyone had issues with the forum/site being down recently? I haven't seen any despite using multiple connections/VPNs/etc. but I certainly want others to be able to access it here.

For now: Try a VPN if you need to log in and are getting trouble somehow. Maybe it'll help, maybe it won't. But I'm hoping that the site is up for enough people and I'm not screaming into a void!

I doubt it's the case, but maybe I just need to get more bandwidth cuz WE SUFFERING FROM SUCCESS OUT HERE AND GETTING HELLA VISITORS?!?!? Though I would think it would have to be orders of magnitude more before we're at that level.

Yeah I had some issues accessing the site yesterday, including your personal site aswell, it seemed to be going off and on. I'm not sure why this is happening but maybe the server is getting overloaded by something, could be those HELLA VISITORS.

If you're able to SSH in when its happening again try doing tail -f /var/log/nginx/access.log (if you have logs on, also look at error.log) or look at htop or something.

Had the same TLS handshake timeout issue yesterday. I am now on different network, will let you know how it looks when I'm back on the other computer.
