I've sung a lot of karaoke in Japan, and tend to pretty much exclusively sing Japanese songs there. Everyone was like "Your first language is English, why not try an English song? It'll be easier." Well, of course part of the reason is that the selection of good otkau-related songs is enough of a treat that I need to take advantage of it. But the English selection of songs is good enough that I could fine some that I really like. I remember being surprised that this was on a machine there:



So why do I sing almost exclusively Japanese ones? Because I have a better excuse if I suck when it's in my second language. Of course, karaoke isn't about singing really well in the first place. But I've never been a great singer. Ironically, I think I do better at rap music, even in Japanese, because even though it's hard to sing the fast tongue-twisting lyrics, it's less about having really good pitch and whatever, which is hard for me:


I can KILL this. It's a shame not a lot of machines have it.

Another amazing song. It's from some old yaoi/BL anime called Gravitation that I never watched. But if you have a fujo with the right background, maybe you can charm her the way we would be charmed by a girl singing something from Senran Kagura or some shit.

Lastly, this is a good one for "warming up" since the pace is quite slow and steady. But I really love this song:
