2026/08/29 CYTUBE: IN RETROSPECT

CyTube today was quite fun! It didn't have quite as many viewers as some previous ones. One reason for it is that both Heyuri and Deluoode had gaming events today so they overlapped. Oh well, it happens! I also have been very busy with a new full-time job (that I actually really like, surprisingly!) So I didn't have as much time to shill it as I usually do. There was still a decent showing. I think the most there were 19 viewers and most of it averaged about 12-13. Maybe half of those were active in chat. It was a great way to relax!



Na plech aka Do the Mæth (2015)

Follow-up to the earlier ZNK films that we watched a while back. This one looks a lot more "professional," but it still has all the irreverence and insanity you expect. It starts off a little slower, but by the second half or so I was hooked. It's about a corporate young professional (who drinks a Capri Sun at work, lmao) who gets involved with some underground gypsies who deal meth. The last few scenes were really brilliant. We all got a kick out of it.



Dragon Half (1993)

The most deforume-tastic show ever made! I'm not kidding, it's like over half deforumes! You see more deforumes (in various states of chibi-ness) than "standard" shots of the characters! Luckily, the main characters are extremely sexy and cute in their "normal" forms and still quite charming otherwise. "Cute" is probably the best word for this one. It has a great twee charm to it and everyone seemed to pick up on it. It also has one of the best EDs of all time. I need to get a gif of main heroine Mink dancing from it and add it for this forum/CyTube.



Sei Shoujo Sentai Lakers EX aka Battle Team Lakers EX (1996)

A one-shot OVA about high schoolers who turn into magical girls and defeat evil aliens... mostly by having an orgy. Yeah, this was adapted from a PC-98 eroge that I want to read at some point. The character designs are awesome, the animation is cool if not the highest quality in the world, and the nakedness is delicious. My heart is split between the miko Soul Laker and the ridiculously busty Judo Laker. I was happy that everyone seemed to get a kick out of this one.

I've set a tentative date of September 26th at 18:00 UTC. What will we watch? Depends what has the most votes. If what has the most votes is a movie or short OVA, we'll do the usual and watch a movie and then an OVA or two. If it's a longer series, we'll just watch that series. Right now, Mouse and Popotan are ranking high, meaning that we would only watch one of those if they won. But the highest-rated is still the movie Boss Nigger, which is of course a complete classic!
