Hello, I'm Thricegreat.

I run a personal webpage which is linked on Amlux's site. I write menhera ramblings (笑) on autistic topics like math, religion, philosophy, &c.

By the way, my use of "&c." instead of "etc." came from Disquisitiones Arithmeticae by Carl Friedrich Gauss. I highly recommend the book if one is seriously to study number theory.

I was just lurking around. But since there have been some topics I want to write about but not on my webpage, I have signed up. If I found a topic really interesting, I would write about it on my webpage instead. To preserve it properly.

It seemed that I had to choose an anime profile picture. So I chose Tsukishiro Yuki in Manosaba. I can't say anything because her existence itself is a bit spoiler. But I really like her in that game.

Very grateful for your presence here Thricegreat. I find your insights valuable as we often seem to have similar philosophical/religious intuitions but ground them in very different backgrounds (a more "scientific" versus "artistic" one, you might say).

Hello everyone. I recently learned from a mutual friend that Amlux had added a forum to his website, and over the last week or so I've been lurking around here, reading the articles and such. In fact, I've found the whole site really inspiring.

I'm a former gaming addict and touhou freak, now more of a casual gamer and fetish artist. I like arcade games, puzzle games, and some more relaxing stuff like Dungeon Crawl and Dwarf Fortress. I also love music and any kind of surreal / erotic / just plain weird art. I like horror and ero-guro. I like drawing. I like talking about drawing, and encouraging other people to draw. Maybe that makes me a bad influence. In college I studied math and physics, but I dropped out.

I've never actually been much of an otaku. I don't think I am one. It seems that being a pervert and a gamer just organically brings me into contact with anime people. As far as philosophy goes, I'd call myself a nihilist and an optimist. I try to appreciate the immediate experience of being alive, and being human, and not overthink it too much.

I really miss forums. I've been an internet recluse for a long time. Maybe I'll try to be a little more outgoing again.

My name is Phonolagnia, nice to meet you all. I suppose my interests would be similar to most people here, I like anime, eroge, fighting games (Melty Blood AACC is my favorite), philosophy, and literature. I'm currently learning japanese and how to draw, too. I found the board through Amiux's youtube channel.
