Your favorite anime OPs/EDs

This is a potentially infinite rabbit hole. So I'll just post one I think is very underrated: The ED of a fantasy series called Scrapped Princess from the early 2000s which I think deserves more love. The ED's special charm though is that the song is by Oranges & Lemons, aka the band famous for the iconic soundtrack to Azumanga Daiou. You can totally tell it's the same singer when you listen to her voice. Squint and you could start to hear "Raspberry Heaven."



Unfortunately, I can't find a version with the actual imagery from the show, but it's a very standard ED, just some images of the characters fading in and out on the side of the text. But hearing this song took me to some special places that only Azumanga can take me to. Hearing it in such a different genre was just the icing on the cake.

When it comes to OSTs, I like Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story the most. Especially the first season.

I typically prefer full versions of the songs, but I also think MVs/TV version animation are important esp for their being as an opening or ending to a series. I have mostly full versions on the playlist though.

I guess I should still highlight some stuff that I can remember really liking.







I didn't even finish this show, but both music and the MVs are just godly
