To kick off the thread, here is a question for anyone who has been playing DDR a while.
What did you think about the move from DDR A3 to DDR World?
Pros! I was happy that so many tracks that were locked to non-card users were suddenly available, as I lost mine and haven't bothered to get a new one. The changes to filtering are nice too.
Cons! The new backdrops are totally lame, glad to see video backdrops came back recently but until then videos were taken from full screen to a tiny box in the middle. A3 had a way cooler UI aesthetic overall. Also, this may not be a big deal to most, but I really miss having those pack challenges where you play four charts back-to-back. The coolest thing about them was your combo would carry over between the songs, once I hit a 1000 note combo and I don't think I'll ever feel as awesome in my life as I did then.
