Introduce Yourself

Hi! If you're reading this site, you probably know me as the owner of the site
Pantsu Prophet. This is the official forum of the site, OPPAI ORACLE!
Most of my best memories on the internet are somehow tied to forums. I hope for this forum to headquarter social activities for those interested in my net presence. Feel free to talk about whatever you want here. What are the advantages of forums in this day in age?
1. Forums are more decentralized than platforms like Reddit and Twitter/X and thus have more autonomy to set your own rules of engagement.
2. Forums are more stable and suited to internet archiving. With everything shifting to places like Discord, everything becomes increasingly transient and hard to have a record of. The valuable act of "lurking moar" is also much easier to engage in on a forum.
3. Forums are more suited to thoughtful, slower forms of communication. It's more like writing a letter than talking on the phone, which means that it encourages you to be more intentional about what you post and why.
These are just a few advantages! And so I am excited to announce this forum for any friends and well-wishers to take part in.
As for myself: I'm a net veteran, a fan of cute 2-D girls, a scholar of esoteric philosophy and religion, an amateur GNU/Linux user, and a gamer who makes up for lack of skills with stubbornness. I'm trying to stream regularly on my site now, so I hope to see you there!
Please introduce yourself. Here are some questions to get you started:
How did you find the Oppai Oracle or Pantsu Prophet? It feels conceited of me to ask this since most of the answers will probably be related to my videos, but it's a good conversation starter I guess
What are your hobbies and interests?
What are you reading/playing/watching at the moment and what do you think?

Hello! I'm excited to see this pop up and eager to see where it will go!
I am Deoster! I'm a fledgling philosophy student with a lot of hobbies. I'm interested in game development, drawing, writing, and composing and playing music. I like phenomenology, hermeneutics, aestheticism, decadence, perversity, taboo, ancientness, mysticism, dreams, moe, and free improvisation. I love old and odd things! I am also growing an increasing interest in technology and this whole space of smaller personal websites; I'm working to hopefully be able to add one of my own to the pile soon enough.
I found Pantsu Prophet from the Tractatus YouTube video, which I believe is a fairly common track. For all their evils, the algorithms served me well on that one, I suppose.
I'm currently slowly making my way through Being and Time. I should definitely be going at a more consistent pace but I'm having a very good time with it nonetheless. Even knowing its overall "points" and arguments, the way Heidegger articulates and sets forth everything is great and very inspiring. I'm also watching the Sopranos for the first time and enjoying it a lot. I wish we could get a therapist's office involved in more stories; there's something kind of satisfying to me about getting to see a character talk about and consider themselves in that blunt, overt way.

Great to see you here Deoster! And it warms my heart that you're braving the actual text of Bein and Time. There are definitely some excellent passages that I had to exclude for the sake of my lecture, so I do think that my lecture can't replace the original even if it is very in-depth.
Also, I adjusted avatar settings so you can have a max of 150x150 and don't have to worry about getting them to be too tiny in terms of filesize. Please feel free to adjust your avatar as required.
I'm going to advertise this forum on my streams so hopefully we'll see some more activity soon!

MGR and DMC series is part of my personality.
I'm a Russian weeaboo NEET since summer 2022. I have the wildest, most eclectic ideas at all times. Believe that videogames are the greatest art form (Touhou is irrefutable proof of this.) May start drawing, doing photography, dancing, making cheese, memes, or literally anything, at seemingly completely random and it is probably not possible to predict. I basically relate to Raskolnikov, Travis Bickle and Ted Kaczynski a lot.

Wonderful to see you here! Please make yourself at home. Touhou Project is definitely one of the purest artistic expressions ever created.

I'm Oannes, a Midwestern shut-in with aspirations of dollmaking and publishing doujinshi. For now, I'm just a frequent doodler and sometimes writer. I have a passive (read: pleb) interest in literature, geoscience, philosophy, and music. I'm trying to get into mathematics, too, despite being functionally innumerate since childhood.
My loftiest aspiration is to create a Comiket-like network of conventions in the USA, with a comparable degree of moral creative freedom to Comiket, without someone breaking in with nail bombs.
Like seemingly many others, I found Pantsu Prophet through the Tractatus video, which I avoided for some time because Subarashiki Hibi had developed poor associations for me, but I regret avoiding because it was right up my alley.
Currently deciding on what to read. I guess I'll flip through Hathitrust. I'm to Blanche Comme la Neige by Kate & Anna McGarrigle.

Hello everyone! I assume I have many of the same interests that you all do but also have a love for math and physics. I’m currently reading Charles Pinter’s A Book of Abstract Algebra and Edith Hamilton’s Mythology. I want to read more philosophy but I usually get overwhelmed with having to either start with the Greeks or not know whats happening. I’ve been playing thorough Dracu-Riot! In an attempt to improve my Japanese and have been listening to Albert Roussel and Mahler. I found this site through the lectures and its fostered in me an appreciation for the “indie web” after wasting most of my youth to YouTube slop.

Howdy everyone! AipiqiA here.
How did you find the Oppai Oracle or Pantsu Prophet?
Like most people here, I started from Pantsu Prophet's youtube video on Tractatus Logico Philosophicus with Otonashi Ayana. From there, I would come back to the channel time and time again, going through the Personal Thoughts and some of the other lectures. These short essays have especially gave me lots of insight on many things, namely in Spirituality and Culture.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I like to spend my time consuming otaku media and music. I also like classical music, and lately I've been trying to collect more music. I draw sometimes too, not as much as I want to lately though.
I'm rather interested in academic subjects, namely in Mathematics, Physics, Philosophy, Religion, and Cultural Studies, but I am currently on the level of an interested layman on most of my academic interests.
I'm also an amateur GNU/Linux user, gradually learning stuff, especially interested in keyboard centric programs and 'workflows' (though i think the overoptimization culture that comes along with those words are kinda disagreeable). I also working on my
personal site to fill it up with more content and make it easier for me to upload better stuff.
What are you reading/playing/watching at the moment and what do you think?
I'm currently reading the 5th Volume of the Lord El-Melloi II Case Files LNs. Once I'm done with that volume I'll continue my FGO Lostbelt catch up (from the start of LB 3 as I finished LB 2 a while ago). I also want to read Lord of the Mysteries and finish Chaos;Head NOaH. As for my thoughts, well it would be something like "I really like Type Moon after all!", and a desire to learn more about actual religion and esotericism.
For non fiction, some books on my priority list of finishing are Saito Tamaki's
Beautiful Fighting Girl, Ted Kaczynski's
Technological Slavery (atleast to finish the ISAIF), and some Plato dialogues.

Nice! I have that book myself, I'm planning to get back to my math books and going through them before my university starts!

Hihi~ ^^
How did you find the Oppai Oracle or Pantsu Prophet?
A screenshot of the Wittgenstein vid's thumbnail was posted in a Discord I'm in ages ago but I didn't really bother investigating further until I found your website later by other means I forget and I ended up being really impressed by it
What are your hobbies and interests?
Arcade style game design, free software, archaeology and history/metaphysics of all sorts but especially computing lore and things around that. I've been meaning to get into typography/calligraphy and drawing as well but haven't quite found the occasion to yet.
What are you reading/playing/watching at the moment and what do you think?
A week or two ago I found
Ouroboros; or, the mechanical extension of mankind while doomscrolling Internet Archive and I was immediately captivated by the premise of it and the opening chapter. As far as games,
Tromi has been my main fixation for the last while (being as it is both the most elegant block stacking puzzle type game I've ever played and one of the only FOSS games that's actually good), and I'm hoping I can achieve over 600,000pts on it soon.
Anyway, it's a pleasure being here and I hope to see and converse with you all more soon~
