I have no clue what the origin of this image is and I don't think it's good to predict by. Seifuku varies according to school, so it's not like they're mandated by prefecture I think. I lived in one of these prefectures and by no means did all the uniforms I saw look like these. But I don't know the details. I'm not an expert at the anthropological details of seifuku. I just know that they're cute.

But the real point isn't about anthropological accuracy. It's about telling me which ones you think are cutest! I'll be nice and let you pick three. As for me, I like Fukushima, Fukuoka, and Nagoya. Oosaka is cute and Koube is elegant, but seifuku skirts should be short!

Fukuoka is the cutest. Hokkaido is also cute and reminds me of Erased (I need to watch it again.)

That image is really great. What is great are not only the clothes. Those people actually do those poses, haircuts, and facial expressions.

Personally

1. Oosaka (but loafers instead of sneakers)
2. Okinawa
3. Fukuoka & Koube

I think the goodness of skirts lie on ふわりひらり. If a skirt is short like the Toukyou one, there is not much room to wave. I'm quite sad because JKs usually think the shortness is おしゃれ. They unnecessarily shorten their skirts.

1, 2 reflect that. Also I can hear the Oosaka dialect and can imagine her personality from the image. And I like the laid-backness of Okinawa. I like the colours of the Okinawa one too.

Fukuoka is because of 萌え袖. I guess Northern Kyuushuu people in general like 萌え袖. Koube is because of the elegance. I have an impression that Sakamichi series idols usually wear that type of seifuku.

My top 3 would go
1. Niigata
2. Fukuoka
3. Nagoya

I'm a big fan of when the blazer goes over the skirt. It's makes the illusion that the skirt is shorter than it actually is. Tokyo's does that too, but I like the color coordination of the others more.
(It also reminds me of how a lot of my friends into J-fashion dressed.)
