Forum games/fun suggestions

I think this forum section could be used to play cool games together, so for starters I'm making this thread to gather suggestions and ideas on what specific games we could play. Please let's keep this thread only about ideas -- if you want to start a particular game (whether based on an idea listed here on not), make a new thread.
Here are my initial ideas:
Here are my initial ideas:
- Collaborative writing (each new post adds another sentence). Alternatively another form of collaborative art, for example an image (can be based on a grid where each user picks one, or can be just one image that each new post edits in some way, ...). Maybe ASCII art could work too?
- Draw the map of the world from memory. (We already played this with Amlux once
) Alternatively draw something else from memory (Pokemon, cartoon characters, ... feel free to suggest what). If you start a thread on this, remember to NOT embed the images to not spoil the challenge for other users
- Some kind of board game such as chess, go or shogi. How this would be played is left for suggestions.
- Something like what they did with Dwarf Fortress: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boatmurdered. It could be some DOS or maybe GameBoy game like Pokemon where someone would start playing, then sum up the progress and hand the emulator save file to someone else and this would keep repeating until we'd finish the game, then we'd make an epic video of the whole playthrough with TTS of the forum posts over it.
- Some sort of creative competition in programming or game development, but maybe even something much different like making desktop wallpapers or story writing. The point is in users submitting their creations and then somehow deciding the winner, be it by subjective means (voting, judges, ...) or objective ones (letting computer programs battle it out in some game for example). I'd personally love something related to programming (Who can make the best chess bot in 20 lines of code? Who can make the best bytebeat? Who can make the best ASCII animation using only standard POSIX shell and utilities?), but I am not sure how many programmers we have here, so this is open to discussion.
