Re: Positive results of vidya

Runescape taught a lot of kids including me on how an economy works and also how to recognize what a scam is.

Re: The Morality of Procreation and AI

I guess I could consider myself an antinatalist, as I find it hard to think of a reason to have a child that isn't inherently selfish and/or somewhat unethical. But you can sort of optimize the ethics of it which is what good parents do. It's kinda like eating meat but raising the livestock yourself ...

Re: Video Game Achievements

I mentioned this in my introduction but my greatest achievement is beating I Wanna Kill The Kamilia 3, which I'd consider maybe the hardest or one of the hardest games of all time if you're not being pedantic and bringing up games that no one plays. Re: /vng/ - Visual Novel General

Re: Post pictures of your otaku collections/rooms

I find it kind of ironic that a person who is really into Buddhism has a lot of material goods

I basically have had nothing in my room for a long time, the last time I had an anime poster or anything was a Naruto one in 2008. Anything I own mostly consists of obscure games I bought ...

Re: How do ya'll obtain/store your media?

I want to quickly give a shoutout to kitsuneko and Jimaku for those of us who like watching anime with Japanese subs. Though sometimes they are missing the weird, obscure crap that I love watching. Can link to these as subtitles alone are totally legal to share!

Oh yeah I totally forgot about ...

How do ya'll obtain/store your media?

I was wondering this since we got a community here that (I'm guessing) is largely anti-streaming. Personally I've never had a Netflix account in my life, and have been torrenting for more than half my life, so that's my go-to. A couple years ago I bought a cheap used 12TB HDD and got back into ...
